Martin Roscoe
Peter Donohoe has made many fine recordings for EMI
Records, and has recorded the three Bartok Piano Concerti
with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Sir
Simon Rattle. Recent releases include the Beethoven
Diabelli Variations and Sonata Opus 101..
Martin Roscoe is one of the busiest and most versatile
concert pianists in Britain. Regularly invited to perform with
most of the major orchestras in the UK, he has a particularly
close association with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
Orchestra with whom he has given over sixty concerts.

Gerard McCrystal made his concerto debut with the London
Philharmonia in 1989 He has recorded a large number of pieces
including Debussy's Saxophone Rhapsody with the Ulster
Orchestra, and has appeared on the Album "Imagine Another
Ireland - Encore"

Nuages and Fetes from Nocturnes
Joseph Petric has commissioned more than 100 works and
followed his far-ranging musical interests into noted
collaborations. His "Big Squeeze" Accordion Festival featuring
32 accordionists made an international impact.

The Nemo Brass Quintet has now established
itself as one of the finest brass ensembles in
the world. Thrilling audiences on three
continents, this group continues to prove that
chamber music can be performed at the very
highest level by brass musicians.

and awards, highlights have been the 1994
Narbonne International Brass Quintet
Competition, the 1994 Royal Overseas League
Chamber Music Competition and the Moers
International Brass Quintet Competition.
Quartet
The Kontra Quartet was formed in 1973 by Anton
Kontra and at once established itself as one of the
principal chamber music ensembles in Scandinavia.
Its debut concert in the Tivoli Concert Hall in
Copenhagen featured works by Nielsen, Schubert.
and Bartok - a choice and style of music that
signalled a breadth of repertoire that has now.
become a hallmark of the ensemble.

The
Gould
Piano Trio
The Gould Piano Trio was formed in 1987 at the Royal
Academy of Music where all members studied and
won major prizes. They are now recognised as a
dynamic force in the area of chamber music
throughout the UK.
The Trio has been recipient of many national and
international awards, which include first prize at the
Charles Hennen International Chamber Ensemble
Competition, the John Tunnell Trust Award, and the
Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition.

Born in 1978 in Lodz, Poland, Rafal started to play
the violin at the age of seven. From 1989-1992 he
studied at St Mary's School, Edinburgh, and became
a pupil at the Yehudi Menuhin School in September
1992 where he studied with Wen Zhou Li until 1996
and under whose direction he is currently studying
at the Royal Northern College of Music.
