Felix Schmidt will be joined by Annette Cole for the B.M.S.
recital, following his performance the previous evening with
the Ulster Orchestra. With the Trio Zingaro, they have a busy
schedule of concerts throughout Britain, and tours next
season include Germany, France, Switzerland and Canada.

Schubert Quintet in C major,
Op. 163
Divertimenti Ensemble was formed in London in 1978. It has
become widely known as the most exciting and imaginative
group of its kind in London. Its members are some of the
finest young soloists and chamber musicians of their generation.
"Belfast born Paul Barritt, a founder member of the ensemble,
now leads it with assurance and dedication of a born
concertmaster/soloist."

Bartok, Ravel and Gershwin.
One of Britain's foremost violinists, Nigel Kennedy is
interested in all types of music and has appeared with major
orchestras all over the world. His busy 1987/88 schedule
includes his orchestral debut in New York and recital debut in
Washington. B.M.S. are privileged to welcome back to
Belfast, for the closing concert, this brilliant young artist.
