ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 7.30 pm Saturday October 4th Harty Room Queen's University followed by Michael McGuffin and Philip Hammond Two of Northern Ireland's most versatile musicians join forces in a programme for two pianos at the opening recital of the BMS season. We are particularly pleased that she has agreed to sing in the BMS programme together with her accompanist Graham Johnson who will be enthusiastically remembered by all who have had the privilege of hearing him on his previous visits to Belfast. The group itself is an outstanding example of the highest standards in musical teamwork. PAUL GALBRAITH (Guitar) 7.30 pm Saturday April 4th Elmwood Hall Queen's University Programme to include: Haydn Piano Sonata No. 33 in D (arranged by Galbraith) Takemitsu Folios Bach Lute Suite No. 2 (arranged by Galbraith) Programme will include works for 'four hands' by Schumann, Beethoven, Debussy & Prokofiev Husband and wife team, Dmitri and Tanya Alexeev are both distinguished pianists with careers of their own, but their delightful duo performances are equally matched in musical exuberance. Segovia said of Paul Galbraith "Paul is magnificent. He will be a great artist".
