The Fairfield Quartet has consolidated the reputation it has

With engagements in Rome, San Diego, Rouen, Iceland,
Glyndebourne and Bath Festival, 1986 is an extremely busy
year for Linda Hirst. We are particularly pleased that she
has agreed to sing in the BMS programme together with
her accompanist Graham Johnson who will be
enthusiastically remembered by all who have had the
privilege of hearing him on his previous visits to Belfast.

Husband and wife team, Dmitri and Tanya Alexeev
are both distinguished pianists with careers of their own,
but their delightful duo performances are equally matched
in musical exuberance.
Segovia said of Paul Galbraith "Paul is magnificent. He will
be a great artist". With such recommendation BMS are proud
to close their prestigious season with a recital by this young
genius of the guitar.
